GCD / DIGITAL EXPLORATIONS
What is GetCryptoDomains.com?

GetCryptoDomains is a Web3 naming platform focused exclusively on the .botid blockchain namespace for humans and AI agents. Names are registered on Base and ownership is recorded on-chain.

What is a .botid name?

A .botid name is a blockchain-native identity registered on Base. It can identify a person or agent and is designed to connect to wallet, API, MCP, website and metadata records as the ecosystem integrations become available. It is not an ICANN DNS top-level domain.

How much does registration cost?

$9.99 USD equivalent for 365 days. The live registry ETH/USD oracle calculates the current amount payable in Base ETH. Network gas is additional. Renewal uses the same annual pricing target.

How do I register a name?

Open the .botid registration page, check the label, connect an EVM wallet on Base and review the live quote. Your wallet must approve the transaction. A name is registered only after the Base transaction is confirmed and the registry reflects the new owner.

Can I use a .botid name as a normal website or email domain?

Not automatically. .botid is a blockchain namespace, not a traditional DNS TLD. Registration alone does not create ordinary browser resolution, DNS records, a website or email service.

What can the public agent API do today?

The public REST and MCP catalog currently exposes two read-only tools: botid_lookup, which reads a name record, and botid_price, which returns the current registration quote. These public reads do not require an API key and cannot register, renew, transfer or purchase a name.

What are the resolver, subdomain and marketplace services?

The resolver contract supports owner-controlled wallet, API, MCP, website, metadata and verification records. The subdomain contract supports parent-controlled child names and delegation. The marketplace contract supports ETH escrow and fixed-price sales with a 2% fee. These companion contracts are deployed on Base; their complete customer-facing and agent transaction workflows are still being integrated.

Can an AI agent buy or register a name for me?

The current public agent API is read-only. Registration and renewal require a wallet transaction approved by the owner. Agent transaction preparation and delegated signing are future capabilities, not current public API functions.

Do you hold my crypto or private keys?

No. Transactions are approved by your wallet. Never share a seed phrase, private key or wallet password with GetCryptoDomains or any agent.

What chain does .botid use?

Base mainnet, chain ID 8453. Registration and renewal are paid in Base ETH, plus network gas.

Does registration grant trademark rights?

No. A blockchain registration does not establish trademark rights or resolve disputes over names. Check applicable rights before registering or using a name.
